* This cannot be done if two-factor authentication is not being used.
Users
If you want to register an authentication application different from the registered authentication application, or if you were using an authentication application on your smartphone but want to change the model and register the application on your new smartphone, you can reset it by following the procedure below.
* It is recommended that you remove Mirai Translator from the older authentication application, as the authentication codes displayed there will no longer work.
1.Click [Account Settings] on the upper right of operation screen.
2.Click [2-Step Verification] and then click [Reset].
3.Select the confirmation checkboxes and then click [Execute].
4.Click [OK].
If you cannot reset using the above procedure, or if the smartphone containing the authentication application you have been using has broken down or been lost, request an administrator user to reset two-factor authentication.
Administrator users
Use the following procedure to reset two-factor authentication for a general user or group leader.
1.Click [User Management] in the [UTILITIES] menu.
2.Select the checkbox of the user(s) to reset and then click [Reset of 2-Step Verification].
3.Select the confirmation checkboxes and then click [Execute].
4.Click [OK].
If an administrator user cannot perform the reset for some reason (such as the device containing the registered authentication application breaking down or being lost, or switching to a new device), we can provide "configuration change support" to handle this.
* You can continue to use the authentication application if you have changed devices but still have the old smartphone.
See here for information on contacting us for configuration change support.
Refer to "Two-factor authentication user guide" for more information about the two-factor authentication function.
